I bought this to use my ps2 pelican sticks well into the future. I didn't have a PS3 handy so I just tried them on a friends Mac (running 10.6 and SNES9x 1.43 UB). They work fine, if you are running a program that can recognize them. You can't, for example, start moving the mouse around the screen. In other words, they are compatible with apps that have some sort of driver built in to recognize specialized controllers. The build quality however doesn't seem that high. They may be durable, I'll have to see. But they definitely feel/look cheaply made. -- Reasonable product- Mac compatible!
This devise works well, but I've only used it with a few demos that I can play with my girlfriend. These games are not complex, mainly Lego Indiana Jones and Marvel vs Capcom. The reason for the 4 stars is that I knowticed a problem with the left joystick not working. For more complicated games, this might be a problem because the d-pad might be not used the same as the joystick. Anyways, overall it's worth the money though in my opinion. -- Handy for the Girlfriend
Bought this to be able to have back up controller and it works great. Played all my ps2 games(have 60g and 20g ps3 so i can play old ps2 games).Seems to work fine with all my ps3 games also,just no sixaxis motion control(sometimes not a bad thing).Cheap,easy way to have back up contollers(while ps3 controller is charging) if you already have your old ps2 controllers.Dual shock function works using this also,so a cheap way of having dual shock function. Works with ps2 guitar hero controllers also. -- works great
