User Reviews....
I bought this game solely off of the reviews on Amazon. I knew nothing about the game at all and decided I'd give it a shot because I didn't wanna play Metal Gear Solid that came with the PSP I ordered. Great game... great replayability, however I never play on easy. It's too easy. The bosses are fun, the upgrade/level systems is great. The graphics are great. Never play God Of Wars to contrast/compare, but I really enjoyed this. Definately worth the purchase!! -- Great game!
Everyone has already said if you like God of War you'll like Dante's Inferno, and it's pretty much true.

I've played through it twice on different difficulty modes. Classic was a bit easier with a few less enemies, and the bosses were a little easier to beat. However, Classic was still challenging. Zealot was definetly tougher. Now I'll try Hellish, and then on to Infernal, maybe.

All in all it's a great game. -- I'm a God of War Fan Who Loves Dante!
Graphics are great, very interesting storyline. As others have said if you like God of War you will enjoy this. Not sure what game the one guy was playing who said you can't take 5 steps without going to a cut scene because this is not true. There is a scene in between each level and when you get to important story points that is it. -- Great Game
this game was a gift for my husband, he loves it. once you beat it you can go again for new adventures, so its never the same. one of his favorites -- gift
OK, I am not an expert gamer, and as a 28 year-old female without too much background in gaming, I decided to get a PSP to pass the time. I normally play those kiddie-friendly PSP games (e.g. LocoRoco, Katamari, Little Big Planet - you get my idea), but then one day I decided to get some hack & slash game for a change. I didn't want to jump into the most complicated one, and I wanted to get something that doesn't have a long playing time. I was contemplating on GOW or Dante's. Since my husband was still playing his GOW, I decided to get Dante's Inferno. I wasn't disappointed.

I tried the classic level first - as this is the easiest level, and the tutorials were great - for a first-timer on this type of game I was able to get used to the controls. Eventually I got hooked and played the game to the end, despite a lot of curses shouted because this game seems to have a lot of climb, jump and grab, and also falling floors from which I tend to die more often than with the boss fights, lol...

I admit the storyline and controls are somewhat very similar to GOW, but this is still worth playing. From here at least I know I am able to move forward with more hack & slash adventures with my PSP. -- Good for beginners too
